What are the main differences between the new cree and the seoul LED's?

I know this has probably been addressed, but I couldn't really find anything good in the search. for instance, such as efficiency/output compared with lux III's, compatablity with existing reflector's , tint, between the two brands etc. I was thinking of what's to come considering the buzz on these, and maybe trying one in a simple mod on my terralux tele-5 module. (to scared to try it on my HDS) VDG

There have been probably hundreds of posts on this.

I'd recommend searching for user "Newbie" and the keyword "evaluation".

Also there are some sticky threads in the McGizmo forum that give a
good insight into the beam distribution and choice of reflectors for
these 2 leds.

A lot of hyperbole on how good they are, nothing i am looking for in a thread form. Oh well, indovinare chiedo un lotto, VDG

Going to Search, clicking on "Advanced Search", typing NewBie
under user-name and ticking the "Posts" option brought up
