Inova X5 Update

Inova now says only about 2 more weeks till the new X5's are out. They are going to completely stop making the current version.
So if you like the old style better find one now, if not just wait for the new ones.
I have a ton of the new version on order and will post when I get them. Pricing will be about $3.00 more than current version but they haven't set the new price yet.

what is the difference w/ the old one? brighter?

Now the constant On/Off is controlled by rotating the head. The new X5's will have a 3 position tail piece. 1 Lock Off, 2 Lock On,
3 Push Button On/Off something like the SF.
I havent seen one yet but this is what I am being told.

I saw an unsubstantiated post somewhere also claiming that the new one will be 15% brighter. Whether they would overdrive more or use higher grade Nichias wasn't mentioned.

When will they turn their Web site back on?

They said that the new one will use the same batteries and didn't mention anything about being brighter.
