MOD156Finishedlightpic1900.jpg

FM Gun Metal Mag1.5D, UCL lens, 3x Cree XR-E P4 WC stars, 3x modified McR20 reflectors, modified PTS heatsink, bFlex driver in custom made holder, switch modified to momentary, running on 4x 14670 LIR's.

Compared to the nFlex the bFlex is much more "modder friendly"...
Switch/driver module can be seen here.

Lumens output at 350mA: 3x (80.6 – 87.4) = 241.8 – 262.2 Lumens.
According to Cree this will be twice as much at 1A...

Thanks for looking. :)

Beautiful Job as always... Icarus:rock:

Did you have to lower the stars to fit the McR20 reflectors?

Actually it was a PTS-C. Top wasn't altered but the bottom was machined for the correct height. :)

Is the white shell holding the driver board available anywhere?

Prachtig !! Did you have fun sanding the backs of the McR-reflectors ?
For "optimum" focus with Cree emitters, I sand exactly 1.0mm from the back of the reflector...
Is it any different from your reflectors ?

Cheers !
