Possibly a stupid question, but I'm assuming the quad bored tubes will be able to easily hold 4x 14650's? (They are after all just longer AA cells).

With that in mind, and apologies if I missed this when trying to read back through the thread, how much would a quad bored 6D cost me, with shipping to Australia? Is it just the tube or will I receive the entire maglite?

Those are "flutes" and it is not bead blasted, it is "Tactical Grey" cerakote.
