My brother-in-law gave me a DeWalt 18V pack that won't charge. I took it apart and no matter where I measure I get zero volts like it's shorted or something. I haven't removed the insulating material yet. What's the cylinder like part that the contacts are attached to? Looks like a third contact with a thermistor also. Anybody take one of these apart before??
