Safe and dependable 18650 charger?

Can anybody give any suggestions for a safe and dependable 18650 battery charger that charges both protected and unprotected 18650 and maybe even 17670 Li-ion cells? I have not heard great things about the DSD and Ultrafire chargers. Can anyone suggest a good brand?

Hi,

I like Shultz series of charger. Picked up a used one for about $100. In the 8ser software will charge lipo's at 3.7v, and li-on at 3.6v, has conditioning programs to break in new batteries. The manual is extensive but not the easiest to understand at first.

For loose cells the new Pila IBC charger might be an alternative. Charges at 600mA IIRC ... (I'm sure I saw a brief review by Silverfox but now I can't seem to find it)
