Hi folks,

I'm trying to set up my own BB converter. Not that I'm unhappy with a Nexgen, but designing my own might be cheaper and maybe a bit more customizable, and last but not least it's fun to tinker around.

I know that there are a few guys out there who like the TPS6300x series. Can you say something about it? The official specs look promising, but you never know how it performs in actual use.

There are a few point Im intersted in:
Is efficiency really in the >90% range?
Is its output voltage stable, and can it be set precisely?
Has anyone succeeded in setting up a current control circuit via op-amp?

Would really be great if anyone could share their experiences......

Felix

any luck? I'm getting the 63000 and 63010 as well as a few linear parts to compare.
Dat2Zip's new buck boost is supposed to use the tps63000.
