Unenlight. w/new A2 & a Couple ?s

New and unenlightened as I am, I decided to jump in with both feet and bought a new A2-WH from a Member on the sales board here. Woah! This is a whole new level of enlightenment. The 2 levels are great and there's even 2 types of enlightenment: LED Enlightenment and Incan Enlightenment! Seriously, I believe I am really going to love this light. I appreciate great tools and this is definitely a great one.

A couple of questions:
1. Can the clip be safely removed just by sliding it up and out?
2. How is the lanyard ring removed if I wish?
Generally I would not use these on a knife and I don't think that usually I would find them useful on a light.

Last night it was very cool to be able to light up the back of my yard from my closed, screened upstairs bedroom window.

BTW, this Forum is really fun, but its going to be hard not to be a little ocd about buying stuff. I'm sure you know the disease.

Personally, I think the A2 is one of the best lights ever made, and perfect for most people's uses. Congratulations on the purchase.

The ring fits very snug so won't simply squeeze and come out. If pulled hard by the small ring on it will it break or just come apart so it can go back together again? Thanks-

good luck with the ring, its not as simple as Garageboy said, I tried to remove mine...wind up scratching the light in the process...
