is it possible to remove the head on a CMG reactor model without destroying the flashlight? I want to replace the LED in there because it is, quite frankly, "cat-urine" green.

thanks.

I as unable to take this light apart without destroying it. I had two of these, a 2 cell and a 3 cell and they both had terrible switches.

The few I kept are hanging around the house as emergency "go to" lights...used to "go to" my other lights when needed. They work fine for that purpose...I think I have one in a glove box as well.

IF it has a decent tint AND if it's the 3 AA model, THEN you can rip the resistor out of the tailcap and make it fairly bright and actually a nice working light. Otherwise send it in under warranty and it will come back nicely reworked. It gets completely destroyed if you try to open it.
