I found a site that sells a bunch of led stuff from led drop ins to 12v lights for home and car.
web site is www.superbrightleds.com

I was wondering if anyone has ordered or had dealings good or bad with this company before I place an order.

Thanks

Yes, I have heard of them and have ordered from them. They are fine. Many people on an Acura web forum have ordered from them with good results.

I have placed orders and received items very quickly, on several occasions.

No problems.

Checkout the 1v-5v PR2 LED, lovely, floody.

Haven't ordered the car products, but I used to buy my 3 & 5mm LED's there - never a glitch.

I've ordered an assortment car bulbs as well as component LEDs. No problems.

I got some 194 replacement bulbs and didn't care for them - the connections were just the lead wires, and they were kinda fragile and hard to keep in place when you plug them in. I went with JamStrait bulbs and liked them much better..

I've purchased 120V LED bulbs from them and have been very pleased. Their prices are much better than the other 2-3 places I also looked at.

I just got some of their 360 degree LEDs.
Kinda weird, gloppy phospor over the outside but works rather well.
I've replace a pair of LED in a camp lantern with one 8mm and it's brighter.
Have been running them fior a couple days to see if I also get better run time.
So far I'm pleased - no price comparison because of the unique devices.

Superbright LEDs have a $25 minimum for international orders. That means Canada Customs will Ding you every time. Only 1 of my orders sneaked through. It was a bunch of LEDs in a very flat white plastic bubble pack. They probably thought it was a simple letter.

The only LED drop in worth the money is the 1-5V 10mm PR2-W1-WVR LED FlashLight bulb. The rest are junk by today's standards. Want some of my cast offs?

As to 115VAC bulbs:

Model PAR20-x36 - UL listed
Cool white good for close in reading. I got one clamped to my headboard.
Warm white has an annoying green tint and dimmer.

Model E27-W50
Thick glass PAR30 bulb is TOO HEAVY. Mine (48 LED) lasted a year. My estimate 1000 hours. The addition of 2 LEDs could reduce Vf across each LED extending LED life.

Model E27-WLX-1 White LED bulb - no UL listing
The reflector produces a bit of a hotspot which can be annoying if trying to read from it.
Both cool white and warm white have a nice tint.

Model E27-W24 Wide Angle - no UL listing
Too dim.

Model E27-W24 Narrow Angle - no UL listing
The purplish tint in the beam hurts my eyes after a while.

Check the colour temperature of the bulb. Do NOT buy any over 6500 degrees.

Did not get too many raw LEDs

RL5-W18030 is a neutral white LED. The one's I got will work with 2AA alkaline like the MJLED. (The famous nichia CS won't.)

The 5mm 360 degree is quite dim.
