    Default Digital camera newbie

    I'm new to digital cameras and hope someone can suggest a decent camera for me. Mostly I want it for posting pics of small items on forums.I want:

    -compact size
    -good macro mode(for posting forum pics)
    -No more than $250
    -easy to use without too many modes
    -decent battery life

    Thanks for any suggestions!
