Hi
I have heard many rumours of someone here on CPF who sells the plain laser diode from a DVD burner.
Is that person still here + selling them?
Anyway, just to clarify with all you experts...
For the DVD Laser Project, I need the: Laser Diode, Current Reducing Diode (1N4001) to reduce from 3.6v to 3v, power (batts) and a switch?
Is that right?
Also I hear you need an Aixiz Laser Module?
Is this true? Where is the best place to get this from, their website or of ebay? what is this actually used for? Is their something else that I can use?
Do these laser diodes need heatsinks?
