I think the Rexlight priniting should have been facing the other way. All the lights I have the logo faces the lens not the tail.

hard to tell from the pics for me poor eyes...but which light is the brightest? is the Rexlight or the Fenix or the Dexlight brightest? (at the highest setting) - any rough indication of lumens?

btw, where can I find the Dexlight?

Mine does NOT have an AR coated lens as is stated in 3 places on Kaidomains ad for the Rexlight. Can you verify if yours does or does not? (Reflects greenish tint from a ceiling light when the flashlight if off).

Looks like my Dexlight and Fenix are brighter.

I think it's due to the Cree Lottery. Some other CPF'ers lights probably have varing degrees of brightness compared to each other and to my Rex Light.

The side by side with the Dexlight is about how mine stacks up too. Dexlight is quite noticeably brighter with two equally charged 14500's. However the Rexlight was brighter than the Dex when both had NiMH batteries. Disappointed in some things about the Rexlight but still a fair deal at the GB price.

Got my Rexlight today and everything is good. It seems to work as advertised. No flaws in the finish (black) and the Cree is nicely centered with a white tint. I've not had a problem with the UI, but it takes a little getting used to. It's nice to have it start on low, and it's a fairly dim low level. Compared to my other similar light, the JetBeam CL-E, the Rex's low is slightly lower, as is the medium level. The high for the Rex is slightly higher than the Jet. The strobe on the Rex seems a bit faster.

I'm liking it so far. It could have more and deeper knurling and should have included a lanyard, but that's a bit nitpicky. I'd say it's worth the $30.

After having a little time to play with this light I'm kind of glad for the 5 second memory feature. Some folks think 1-2 sec. is plenty. That's okay for remembering your last mode when you turn it off. Where it's nice to have the full 5 sec. is when you turn it on and are trying to determine the level you need. With a shorter interval you would often need to do the double press to move it up a notch. Not a big deal, but I think a 1-2 sec. interval would hinder control more than help.
