I am wanting to buy a new led torch (flashlight). I wanna spend around £30-40 tops. Please can you give me some advice as to what is good etc.

I was looking at the fenixP3D CE Cree, and it looks great to me. I am liking the ability to change the output, to save battery life etc when necessary, and the small size appeals too.

I don't need the torch for anything amazing, just general stuff really, so want good performance with good battery life.

Any advice would be really appreciated

Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Excellent torch, you won't find many negative comments about it. Here's a UK dealer and a video that shows what Fenix is like compared to Surefire and Maglight

Also check the following thread for some fantastic vids from another UK member, showing the Fenix in daylight conditions. Enjoy.

This is one of the rare times when just two or three models from a single manufacturer leads an entire industry. The P2D and P3D lights, not to mention the L2D, are phenomenal. Get a recharger and some rechargeable batteries, and you are riding high. Meanwhile, in the photography industry, Kodak might be on the verge of releasing a new technology that will make camera flashes and motion blur a thing of the past.

Incredible.

I ordered myself a fenixP3D CE Cree today, i can't wait for it! Thanks for the advice people. Anybody know nice cheap places to buy these rechargables and chargers from?

Also, whats the difference in power time then? If it's too much think i'd rather just use standard batteries.

Thanks again for the advice
