The common xp-g boards size are 14mm, 16mm & 20mm.
Did not see 10mm size yet.

More info here. Drivers are wired just like pictured above, i.e. XP-G's are 2s2p so the driver does not get overloaded. Works beautifully so on high, each LED sees 1.4A . The driver can me configured to one of 4 different settings.

I used this configuration





I believe it does exactly the same, plus one wire less to solder
I have to admit, it was only after seeing Hill's thread (see above for link)
that I got off my a$$ and build a quad XPG.
Previous to this one I had only build a tri XPG Mag powered by a Tri-Flupic.

The beauty of Download's 7135 "cheat" is that to build a quad emitter light
you dont have to buy an expensive board to push the emitters plus
the fact that there are no boards that can push the XPGs at 1.4A, powered
by 2 x li-ion and give you a number of choices with the multi level configuration ...... you can disable the dreaded strobe mode

Reflectors came today and I must say these are beautiful and create a nice pleasant beam with a well defined hot spot and ample spill (just the way I like it )

The centering rings are a real bonus as well. Problem is (and this is my doing) my heatsink is not perfectly flat since I custom made it. I will need to disassemble the LE and grind the heatsink more. Not a big deal, but I very anxious to get this complete.

If you could access the lathe, there will be easy to fix it.
If not, suggest to mount your heatsink with your drill, it would be little help to make it level.

A lathe would be easy, but no access

I'll just take it apart and grind it by hand - it's hard work but very satisfying when done - plus ends up being one-of-a-kind!

Interesting and creative. My heatsink does not have a center hole so it wouldn't work for my application. But nice idea!
