So much for not being able to find my happy a** with both hands and a flashlight! (Do not look into Tank Searchlight with remaining eye!)

A10241: very light frosting. Emitter die with bond wires can be seen through the lens, but very light frosting does show up at a certain angle.

Anyone with a heavily frosted head willing to swap?

I'm still using that light...it's right on the nightstand...and it's still frosted.

Really old thread, but I'll play. I have A02779, which is frosted, and A19573, which is clear.

Laser logo? Did they make the cree version of the light with a laser logo?

How do you tell if the lens is frosted?

#A04761 and I have a very lightly frosted version. I can still see the LED but it isn't crystal clear like my L4 or LX2.

mine is very lightly frosted. i never even noticed it, until seeing this thread just now. took my L1 into the sunlight, and its apparent that it is frosted. grabbed my E2DL, and the E2DL is much clearer.
    mine is #A13370
