Hi guys.... just wanted to share something with you in regards to a photoshop creation that was posted here.

We have been contacted by the production team who did the movie Transformer. They are now working on the 2009 release of a new movie (not Transformer 2 but similar target audience/type movie). They contacted us and asked us whether they can evaluate the GatLight V3 for a possible use in their movie. When they told me that it's mostly the same team that did the Transformer movie, I sent'em Wade's photoshopped GatLight-Transformer creation... This one here

I thought I share that with you - who would have thought that Wade's photo would end up with the producer of Transformer

Anyway so keep your fingers crossed for us and if we're lucky we all might see some GatLights in a pretty cool 2009 Paramount Hollywood movie

I'll let you know more about it if it turns out that they actually use our lights.

And keep posting your creations then if we get contacted by someone where your creating makes sense we'll do the same as we did with wade's picture.

Right now we're looking at doing the contest around December/January....

As a life time Transformers fan, this is very cool. I'll have to tell my kid, who is a big Transformers fan as well, but he might not understand, haha. I loved the movie, and even bought a copy on HD-DVD. :P So it's cool the team that produced it enjoyed my Photoshop.

hi guys... the contest is still open... the reason is we thought we give the winner the choice between a V3 or a new version. The decision whether there will be a new version or another round of V3's should be made within a week or two.. at that time we'll start voting on the photos.

Kyle and I are going through the pictures to select our favorites on which everyone then will vote for the favorite shot... so only a few days left to submit new entries to win a brand new GatLight. We'll select our favorite..but you can submit new entries until we announced our favorites... hopefully by this weekend.

No I'm an electrical engineer/turned medico/turned neuroscience spealist and am interested in CNS visual processing. Must explain my ongoing obsession with light. I just thought the contrast between light and dark was too tempting to ignore when I saw this comp. I wont even tell you what I think re the flashlight style/function lest you think I'm sucking-up to the Judges. You might be interested to see where the "psychedelic cornucopia" feature came from.
