No doubt what ever you decide we'll not all see eye to eye re it.

Pretty cool entry... (hope you don't mind if I still take it as an entry)... sorry we havent moved forward yet on this.. just been too busy.... we have come up with a first pre selection of our favorites... hope to have'em up for vote by the end of this week... but until then feel free to add more. Sorry about the delays.. on the other hand if we'd have picked the winner earlier its not that they would get their light earlier until we have produced this round....since we are sold out and all the dealers I know that had some V3s left...

So July 2008 will be the delivery whether we pick the winner the day before the light ships or 4 months earlier.......

Anyway but I want to move forward with that so lets go to logistics of voting....

Where shall we do the voting.... I am afraid that if we do it here in our subforum we will not get that many votes.. since many might not look here... or do you guys think you want to have the voting done here...?

I think I'll shoot an email to sasha and see if I can do the vote in one of the more frequented sections... since its giving $800 worth of Flashlights to cpf users she might make an exception...

Ok we will break down the voting into two phases...
First until end of months we will vote for the best photograph. We have done an initial prescreening and did an initial pre selection.
You are invited to cast your votes for the remaining 19 finalists at the link below:

Then the winner of the photo competition will be picked end of June. At that point we will put up the entries for the Photoshop competition and will do the same process.

No photoshop entries can still be submitted until end of this month, when voting for the photo competition ends.... at the end of the month we'll then vote for the photoshop entries...

The poll software is saying, "Thank you, we have already counted your vote," but I hadn't voted yet - I had only clicked to see the results before I voted. Does that count as a "cast" of zero votes, or is something wrong?

It probably tracks votes by recording your IP. If you use an ISP, like AOL, you may share an IP with other users for your ISP. If they voted on something before you, you will not be able to vote. This happens with our website all the time. AOL is the most common culprit.

hi there... sorry to hear about your issue... it should not do that, however it records voting by ip address so if someone with your ip address...other computer, other user voted already you cant vote again. Now you can try to log out and login to the internet again since most isp use dynamic ip addresses... then you should be able to vote (however there are other filters that track if someone has voted already). If you want to just email me your picks and I'll add your vote manually.
