Mag C/D High Temp Socket kits - they are here

Wow these things look great, but I have 2 questions:

Does this kit replace the stock mag switch? (sorry I'm new with mag modding)
Can it handle a 10-11A current?

I doubt the stock mag switch can handle 11A current. Your best bet for "turn key" is to get a AW Hotdriver switch kit (multimode, switch AND socket are replaced), or if you're confident with modding, to install a big MOSFET to switch the load, and simply use the stock magswitch to trigger the relay rather than carrying all the current.

In the course of testing several bulbs, have already noted that the socket has been stretched by a GY6.35 bulb and now G4 base bulbs are loose.

I'd rather not go through the trouble of changing the socket, but if there were a way to tighten up the socket, that would be great. In the mean time, I guess if it gets really bad, I'll just load up the pins of the G4 with solder to thicken them.
