I'm looking for some 12v self-contained motion sensors and/or photo detectors that I can just put in-line with some 12v lights, probably Crees with drivers. I don't have the time or tools to build any circuits right now.

Any sources?

Thanks!

There are a number of solar and renewable energy stores selling DC lighting and appliances. One online retailer I know of has one.

My other idea is to see if you could find one of these Heath-Zenith Solar motion sensor lights at Lowes or Home Depot. You could remove the 12 volt 20 watt halogen bulb and wire something up in it's place. You could use the entire light as a host for your project.

Many standard alarm system components will operate off 12V and a wide array of motion detectors with various output forms are available.
