But the heat sink will not different between Cree and Seoul . . . .
The heatsinks that Litemania is selling have a raised area for the Seoul LED to sit within, for perfect centering on the heatsink. The CREE needs a flat surface for proper seating and heat dissipation.

Exactly. I am only looking to buy one, and was hoping that someone may have an extra laying around..
I am building a CREE Q5 for a non-flashaholic friend, and am trying to keep costs to a minimum. He wanted a light that would illuminate the side of a house 200' away, and could run NiMh D cells. He has a "peeping Tom" in the neighborhood, and wanted a light similar to my Seoul/Flupic 3-D Mag for spotting the guy. Plus, it can serve double duty as a club.
