Surefire LED editions: G2, 6P Batteries Rechargeable

How well are rechargeables with Surefire LED lights, in terms of fitting, and function?

What are the best and most compatible RCR123A's with Surefire LEDs, particularly the G2L, or the 6PL?

I have tried Tenergy's in Fenixes and they don't fit. Do other batteries fit better?

What is your setup, and does it screw in well?

Is it possible to use a 18650, or is it too fat?

BTW SilverFox, how is the run time and performance? Is it still good?

Does the light dim quite early?

Hello Grun,

I haven't done a runtime test, but it is quite bright and stays bright through moderate use during a work shift. The 18650 cells are too fat.
