Perhaps the Sonoran desert has fried my brain, but I do not see how work as beautiful as this is possible.

Peakaholic!
Well, I was inspired by this thread and made my first Solomon bar bracelet, or cobra stitch...
I was going to buy plastic clips but I decided to use only lanyard knot and loop to close. Like it that way.
Also made a short piece of square stitch from leftovers.
Now I´m planning to make something else, multicolored.
Any good tips for ordering paracord?
I ordered my small amount from Lighthound.
I would would like to order from there but postage is about 60% of the total since its an international order
Second question:
What would you pros recommend, I would like to make a bracelet to my wife. It should be slimmer than this cobra stitch, a river bar?![]()
Not sure about the international shipping, but we bought some from ebay dirt cheap for my wife to practice with. Pretty much any color you would need.
Keep it between the ditches and the shiny side up.

Nice work with the knotted 'snake'.
Here's a 'Dragon's Tongue' paracord bracelet. I followed JD of TIAT's YouTube video tutorial for the tying method, but used a single 12 foot strand of paracord with a 5/8" curved side release buckle for the 9.5" long finished bracelet. I preferred leaving the woven cord bunched up, with the wider effect, instead of stretching it out for the 'lashing' tongue look shown in the video.
And a two-toned version made for a family member that's an LSU fan, and has been undergoing cancer treatment.

Simple knots with beads;

What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
I made a few bracelets and a lanyard with my new favorite weave, the zipper sinnet. I prefer this one to the cobra weave for bracelets because of my tiny wrists. If you've ever seen a kid trying to wear his father's wrist watch you know how ridiculous that looks.Seems it works for lanyards too. The lanyard is just an experiment, I don't have much in my repertoire so I ended up finishing it with an overhand knot.

I've so far tried to not get into turks heads as I've read they can be addictive. Yesterday I made my first simple turks head, and I'm sure it won't be the last
I thought I'd have a go at the snake...
His eyes went a bit funny, my wife says he looks drunk.
I've now got a back order of snakes, both my little girls want one!
Wrapped a USB cable;
As if this cord hobby wasn't geeky enough..
Looking good desperandos!
Watch out for the GITD eyes tonight.....twin snakes alive!!
and another for my little SWMBO
It's funny how little things can get you thinking of new projects to make, I was given this very useful SAK in a trade, so for some reason I wanted a small Monkeys Fist Lanyard...
Without the SAK I would never have thought about making these!

Tonight I made my first monkeyfist/portugese sinnet key fob.
As a total newb I would advice that it would maybe be wiser to start with something smaller than 31mm steel ball...
Had some trouble starting with my tiny hands.
Still, so much fun!
Thanks Dane and other enthusiasts!!![]()
Finally got something to attach a lanyard to my Malkoffs.

Images hastily illuminated by tailstanding, ceiling-bouncing Malkoff Hound Dog, M60 and M61s.The photos didn't turn out well but I had to do something quickly so I could use 1/4 and avoid my shakey hands making it impossible to take pics.
I've discovered that I prefer using a bracelet-like sinnet to a single line of cord to avoid the constricting effect. Using this one can safely drop the light, either by accident, to suddenly grip something or just do something else. It is wide enough to either wrap further around one's wrist like a bracelet or regular lanyard, or to use with winter gloves. (I based the measurements on the thickest gloves I find myself wearing)
This is a Dragon's Tongue Bracelet i have made for a friend of mine.....And because i liked it i made one for my self to..........
i have also upload a video with photo slide instructions in YouTube
