I am putting together a LE for an Aleph A2 using the Aleph Light Engine Kit. Do I need to use a .030" spacer under the emitter? Since the Aleph E-Screw is anodized, I don't have to worry about isolating the emitter, correct?
Edit; I see that I have the McR20 reflector in the A2 head. Will sanding the back of it to bring it to the McR20-S's length be alright? This should also enlarge the emitter hole to what the S reflector is. I also noticed the texture of the two reflectors are different. What are your thoughts on that? (I have a Mcr20-S in another light).
