I built this light with a leftover 10.8v Elite 1500mah pack I had.

-Fully Customized host
-Custom Bi-pin socket holder for G4-G6 bi-pin lamps
-Tailswitch
-Tri-Bored
-Welch Allyn 1185 lamp
-MOP Aluminum reflector
-Borafloat lens.

This light could be utilized as either a Torch or a Mag85 as the battery packs are the same length. You could switch the batterypack, lamp and reflector and have 2 lights in one. I just realized this was possble last night.

The light is currently setup as a Mag85 with a MOP aluminum reflector. If you wanted to use it as a torch you would need to purchase another reflector(bored), lamp, and battery pack which I do have available.

In it's current state as a mag85 the price is $265 Shipped (US) if you want the conversion parts to use it as a torch as well the price would be $60 battery pack, $25 reflector, $6 lamp.

As always, a very stunning creation! Your work is like art...and your art is incredible.

Mac, is this a 2D or a 3D host? (Or perhaps a cut-down 2D or 3D?)

It's a 4d Cut down to Sub 2D. It's just over an inch shorter than a 2d.

Does this light take AA NiMH batteries or some other type of battery pack? It is beautiful!
