I would buy one!!!
I would buy one!!!
Does anyone have one of these E to C adaptors with 6p head? The male end of the adaptor seems quite far away from the flared portion and would look funny if there is a big gap between the bottom of 6p head and the flare. Just curious.
Any photos would help. Thank you in advance.
It does not look any funnier than having a 6P head on a small body. I will post a picture tonight.
I think it is the best looking E to C adapter available (when they are available).
Thank you QtrHorse. Picture will be appreciated.
If bottom of 6p head is flush against the flared portion of the adapter, the transition would look really nice. I would definitely be interested in this in black!
Here you go.
That is a Vital Gear FB2 (two cell body), TNC E to C adaptor and Surefure C2 head. With most LED drop-ins (other than SF), there is a gap but that is the same for any SF body/ head combo with a LED drop-in.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. The gap you're talking about is NOT what I was picturing. That is hardly a gap!
Now I'm definitely in for one black with fins and one black without fins please!
Thank you QtrHorse for the photos!

There is no LED module in that light. When there is, there is a small gap between the head and adaptor. There is a 1.15mm gap when I have a LED module in the head.
I see. I can still live with that slight gap however![]()
Found a black one! Sorry, but please remove me from the list for tnc adaptors!!!
I would like to get black E to C adapter.
Cheers,
Andrey
TnC page shows $27.
Any chance we might see some more finned HA-nat type III finned E to C adapters?![]()

I'll take some![]()
Hello Chris,
Tracking back up the posts above, there was a discussion about a slight gap between the adapter and the host body. Can this be remedied on this new run? Just a thought.
Heck, I'll take one of each, Finned Nat and Black!

There is no gap between the body and the adapter. The only gap there can be is when the bezel is screwed on. I don't know of any gap there has been between the battery tube and the adapter.
Anyone wanting to purchase a finned Black or Naturlal one please order it now. They are at the platers and I should be able to ship them out next week.

I have a bare-aluminum Pineapple body. Is it too late to get one bare?
Gaack, I should have asked this in the first post, but do these play nice with Malkoff heat sinks? I know the Surefire LU60 ones don't, which is making me a little leery. (Though heck, I'll probably order one anyway!)
It should but I have not tried one before. Maybe someone else has used one with that setup!
I do have an aluminum E2C that I made for you. Let me know.
Chris
What else can I do but take it?
I'm assuming whatever I save on anodizing fee is eaten by the one-off fee.

If it was a true one-off the cost would of course be a lot higher. Since the 2nd op machine was still set up I was able to get it fairly quick for you.
It will ship out today.
Thanks

And much to my chagrin, the two don't match. Either this is the lightest HA-gray ever plated, or my body has developed a patina over the years. Go figure.
Also, my Malkoffs fit fine inside, but there's a gap - either between adapter and body, or between adapter and bezel, interestingly enough. I've had some trouble with an IMR and a dummy cell (two 15mm adapters taped together, leaving everything a little loose) but that's nothing to do with your adapter and a 17670 should work fine.
