"Sport Themed" house keys

I saw some sport themed keys at my Lowe's hardware store so I decided to make a copy of one of my house keys onto a "Dodgers" key. There were a few other team keys available as well as a "WacKeys" novelty collection and some with Loony Toons characters on them. They were available for either Kwikset or Schlage locks

I found you can also purchase them off Awsome Keys.com Any place with the Axxess+ key machine should be able to cut these blanks for you.

I've always thought these types of keys were really cool. I know they have some in Home Depot and Wal-Mart, as well. That Dodgers key is really handsome looking. I think, I might like to get one of those Bart Simpson keys from Awesome Keys.com. I've got a mess of keys on my key ring and I bet it'd look pretty neat to have all different types of colored/decorated keys, like a rainbow.

The finish wears away in a year or so. My roommate had a one and it looked awful after 9 months or so after constant EDC!

I wonder if a coat of clear enamel (spray, or nail polish) every now and then would keep them looking nice?
