Would like to crank up the lumens on my SF E2 series and understand that the LF bulbs are great. My question is; should I use protected or unprotected RCR's? Would like to order a set up from Lighthound....your suggestions please. :shrug:

use AWs protected RCR123 750mAH. They are pretty solid little cells that I have pretty high confidence in (I have tortured a pair for a long time now and they are still near new capacity).

For safety reasons, protected cells are the way to go.
