Buy a light from Fivemega.
For your purposes I am guessing a
700L with an 1185 bulb would fit the bill (smaller form factor, flat discharge rate Li-Ion cells).
You could also PM him and ask him to install a Kiu heatsinked bi-pin or an AW D driver
Otherwise, just buy a:
- 9aa-3d adaptor
- metal reflector
- boro lens
- SS bi-pin adaptor

all available from Fivemega for about $90 with shipping. totally plug and play with any Mag 3D you like and will work with just about any NiMh AA rechargeables.
Kaidomain also has some metal reflectors, 3aa-1d series adapters, and glass lenses. That metal reflector in it's current iteration doesn't focus well with 1185 bulbs tho. the cheapo 3aa-1d adapters don't work well in real high output applications like this (same as the litemania adapters).
