Fenix P3D Q5 Battery Compatibility?

Alright my head is about to explode trying to figure out what light to purchase, P3D Q5, and now what batteries can be used in it w/ what associated trade-offs. Ideally I would like to keep pretty long runtime and possibly give up some output while using rechargeables. Can this light use RCR123's? How about 18650? What are the current recommendations for brands?

Thanks for any and all help!

Thanks for the quick reply. In that post I see mention of 18650 as well as R123's but no real clarification as to pluses/minuses of 1 vs the other. Also it was my understanding that it wasn't recommended to use 2 protected R123's together. That being said since the Fenix has a low battery warning I guess it would be ok to use non-protected cells?

It's not recommended to use 2 NON-protected controls together. Two protected cells would be best for RCR123's
