I wanted to say I I love my Mt. Whitney, and my little Pikes Peak CRKT's...heavy duty folders, with soem weight to them, nice knives...As far as the sharpenign system, I have seen it before but never read anythgin good or bad about it, so I can't comment...But its a neat idea, I just wonder if the piece is easy to use or not? Maybe someone with this setup can comment...Just wanted to say the 14K summit series knives are nice for the price!

I was not able to get good results with the Slide Sharp. I think it's just too gimmicky. I now have a Spyderco Sharpmaker, a Profile set, and some small DMT stones, and those get the job done much better. If you just get one, get the Sharpmaker, IMO.

The Sharpmaker is superior, there is no doubts about it.
