I´ve received mine on the 16th of January 2008, very good quality and a real long runner on 100%, almost 2 hours.
Very low PWM-noise on 20% and 2% output, an arm lengths away you would not notice it.
Amazing white light colour and due to its size very handy.

I love it, even compared to my "old" Microfire 10W HID, same output inmho

Hmm, so many Storms out on the Market - how do I know which is which? It's difficult to tell from the torch itself, or are there distinctive features?

There should be a label on the LED modules that will say Q5 or R2. There is nothing else to tell you the modes or even if it's an HO or regular output model.
