i got a gen 5 surefire L1 for $50. can i get a milky mod? which should i get??

So i had another thread where i explained how i came across a display model surefire L1 for $50. i got it yesterday and think it's a great little light.

since the light has a low of ~1-2 lumens and a high of 22, i'd like a little more power out of this light because it might replace my jetbeam cl-e v2 as my edc, even though it's a little larger.

can milky mod a gen 5 surefire L1?

i want: a white beam (more frosty than vanilla), good throw, bright... i would guess i want the ML1 smoothie?

i've read through parts 1 and 2 of the milkyspit thread, but am still confused. is it even worth the upgrade from a gen5, assuming he can do it?
