Hey All,

I just got a P4 squirt after the rave reviews here and overall am very impressed. My pliers have a slight bit of play in them in the joint though. I don't see it as a problem but is this normal? Thanks.

I have two of 'em, and I never noticed any play.

Thanks PN for the comments. I didn't think it was going to be an issue at first but there is enough slop in the pliers that it doesn't cut wires so well. That's a bummer, brand new and I'll have to send it back on my dime for a replacment.

I had one and I handled some others too, all without play, so I think you made well to send it back.

I also have two Squirt P4's. One is at least 3-4 years old, the other is a few months old. I just checked both of them for play in the pliers (never noticed any before in actual use), they both have a tiny bit of play, but not enough to affect use of the pliers or cutters in real world use.
