Dual Color Headlight

Has anybody seen this light?

I'm very interested in a light that has a night vision protection mode....this seems to fill the bill. I'd be interested in experiences and/or opinions from the group.

This looks extremely similar to a headlamp I've seen at Campmor here. This other one has a incandescent main bulb, though.

Looks like same manufacturer, but the neat thing about the guide light is the red leds on the low light setting.

Hello Elnath,

I would take the 200 hour run time with a grain of salt. I am just finishing up testing a Streamlight Trident on the 3 LED setting and also using 3 AAA batteries, and found the best light is the first 24 hours, good light up to 48 hours, and barely usable light at 100 hours. It still glows at 150 hours, but it is not useful.

Now the 200 hours may be for only the red LED's.

I'm actually assuming its only for the reds, I'm also hoping that they are fairly dim. The idea is to be able to use the light for close tasks without degrading night vision too much.
