:mecry:I am issued a streamlight SL-20 for work. Is there anyway to upgrade this light with a drop in?? Since hanging around here I have got several lights that are smaller, brighter, and making this light look sic! Dont need to do anything i cant undo.

Since you put this in the LED forum, I'm assuming you don't want an incan upgrade, so I won't mention putting an SL-35 LA in.

Just got a SL-20XP hand me down. Terralux makes an LED drop in but you will loose brightness. I just ordered a new battery and an SL-35X lamp module for mine.

I've used an SL20 for 25 years. I've pretty much always used the SL35 bulb in it for increased brightness. Recently I got the opportunity to get one of JS's SL60 dropin mods which turned the light into a powerhouse. After having this setup there is no going back. More light and much more throw than the 35 bulb. If you can get one, GO FOR IT.
