Duratec 20CV lighter than S30V

I have received today a XM-18 with Duratech Blade i think the blade is lighter than S30V and i really like it. Special thx to a good friend for getting me the knife. Besides being lighter i think the blade feels and smells different. Weird to describe, never had any experience with Duratech and never heard of it until i've read somewhere in the forums.

That is an interesting observation! I have several XM-18's; 1 is 3.5 inch w/ S30V blade, and 2 3 inchers with Duratech 20 CV.

Hefty is good, knives don't need to be light.
