Ditto~ high and low runtimes, what setting/ohm/resistor do you have for low. also the lumens for low.

also, can this run safely on two cr123 or a Pila battery like a 168s?

thanks for your time :)

Re: ***** SCARY LITTLE MONSTER * Aleph3 Tri-Cree Icarus Mod * Outdoor-Beamshots*****

Hi Folks!

You can run it on 1*RCR123, 2*RCR123, 1*CR123, 2*CR123 or also
a Pila, if you want...:)

There is only a little bit, i coud say about the runtimes. I used it only with
the single-body and on high, i think it will run at least 30min. Nevertheless
i didn't used it for soo long.

The Two-Stage Tailcap has an 15 Ohm resistor (probably around 40-50 Lumen on low).
And here some Beamshots to compare (25metres to the woods).

Aleph on low :naughty:

and the Aleph on high

This beamshots does not show the complete brighness of this little monster,
but its good to show the difference between the two brigness levels.

The Aleph on low is very useful.:naughty:

Nice light :D

Is each emitter provided with 700mA?
If so i dont think the master would recommend using a single R123 with it.
Drawing 2.1Amps through one little RC123 is dangerous.

Ive done the same with my light which had a BB500 and i fryed a couple of batteries doing this.

Just a little heads up so you dont cause any harm or misleed a potential buyer unwillingly.

Sorry for this post,i just had to say something.
I do not mean this as trashing your sales post.

The light is awsome and Freddy`s work is Superb, but i dont think it was ment to be used with a single cell config. As it it very dangerous and any buyer should know this.

Best Regards,
Benny

I never said it wouldnt work ;)
Only that it is dangerous both for the user and battery.

:)
