Default Sub C users, I need some recommendations

I am going to need 6 sub C's for a ROP mod I am working on for small project here. Any recommendations for any? I noticed the highest capacity were Elite's at Batterystation. Those any good?

They're alright. The best cells out there right now are Ener-G4600's followed by yesterdays favorite, EP4200's. Skip IB4200's, as the first batch had problems with about 1/6 cells going bad within two months or so. Originally I heard the Ener-G4600's blew the EP4200's away, but some RC guys had problems popping cells with unmatched, lower quality packs with brushless systems. Under the relatively low drain of flashlights, either should perform admirably.

Remember than voltage under load is a better way to rate cells than capacity, as it means nothing if the voltage sags too low. Given that Sub-C's are made for around 40 amps of discharge, pretty much any cell will do, but you'll get more lumens and the lamp will burn whiter getting the best cells on the market. I will tell you, that my matched EP4200 packs give me about 8 more mph with my RC than anything else I've tried.

    Hello Bob,

Robotic Power Solutions has some Saft cells that seem to be pretty good.
