Still 3 to go......remember guys, these could be machined together with the new batch of Wee NS and Wee Ti in jan/feb for a probable delivery in march. If the deposits get in late the material can´t be bought in time and the machining for the Ag won´t be possible at that time. So don´t be late or we all get the lights late (or not at all).

I`m almost thinking of buying another one but am kind of leary of this turning into another Wee DA long....... drawn out affair.

I don't think it's that simple to make a very small number of high end custom lights. For the quality you get from Rob it's worth being patient. I'm sure that Rob does intend to make the Ag if he gets enough deposits. Withg other people involved in making or working on his lights (the machinist, for instance) I can see why it takes as long as it does. I've bought custom lights that cost a lot that I never received but I don't have that worry from Rob. He's always been top notch in all ways. He notified me today that my RAW Al is on its way. I have bought new from him over the past 4 years or so a RAW NS, Ti and Da. Go for the Wee Ag if you think you want one. I didn't get the first RAW Ag and wish now that I had. The Wees are too wee for mee.

I will deliver to the machine shop this week.

Olrac Gold is something like ten times the price of Silver. So a couple of thousand pounds ££££'s & I do not even like the colour

Made a visit to the CNC shop yesterday & they have made good progress on the Wee Ag.


Three operations are complete, a forth operation @ the machine shop before they then head of to the Assay office for hallmarking.


The Reflector being part of the body & of course also Silver works just wonderfully.
Really looking forward to when these are finished.

Pure Platimum is very soft too, I was talking about 14K the same as used for rings, etc not pure gold. Actually Sterling Silver is not any harder than 14k gold. Any precious metal would have to be an alloy to have enough hardness for duty as a light
