Time to start looking at some tools and supplies to get after those Solarforce L2's! I got a incan model to mess with and a DX R2 drop-in to install/tweeeak.

Where do you guys buy your tools?

McMaster-Carr should have just about whatever you need and they ship the same day you order most of the time.

One small piece of advice, make sure you steer clear of lead-free solder. That stuff is much harder to use, and for a first time solderer it will have you pulling your hair out

Need soldering station, desoldering pump, solder, etc. First time buyer.

Where do you live? Fry's has a good selection of tools at good prices.

Also these web based places.

Circuit Specialists
Jameco
JDR

Cruise through Radio Shack too. Their tips don't last long (unless you buy the iron clad ones) but they're convenient.
