Nice price there, Troy-dude!![]()
Another sale from a SUPER GREAT GUY !!!
Something tells me that we have seen the end of inexpensive LUNASOL's.
Don has always been fair in his pricing. He has shown amazing restraint considering in the past there have been people who buy into extremely limited run programs which are priced very well and turn around and re sell the pieces and a large profit.
I for one don't have a problem with the free enterprise system we use. IF you can make a profit go for it!
My point is that Don has always been fair in the way he prices the lights and the way he makes them available to those who want them. Sometimes you get in and sometimes you don't.
For me it is not about profit and loss. I really want to keep my lights.
I will say that there are not many custom flashlight makers products you can buy and know that if you had to sell the light that you wouldn't loose any dough. Don is one of those guys.
This was a nice sale. Good for the buyer and the seller. Giving an opportunity to somebody who did not make it in is really cool. No doubt in my mind the Lunasol is an instant classic and will be sought after by many.
This is one I will be hanging on to...

Flashlights are tools. Period.
Thanks James, and thanks to all of you for the kind words. I will ALSO be hanging on to my Lunasol (from the first run). I had intended to keep this second Lunasol as well, but a private transaction for a custom Ti TB light precluded me from doing so.![]()
I have sold many items to PLT - he's a class act - and I know he'll appreciate the quality and functionality of a Lunasol.

Small: MJP Extreme III • Orb Raw Ti and NS
Medium: Oveready Triple Copper E2e • MJP-E3e (15-3Ostar) • Surefire L4 (MC-E) • LensLight Mini
Large: Surefire M6-WA1185 • M-Zep MZXR-7a
I suppose there should be handling charges included in the price. Especially for international shipments, much more paperwork involved.
Actually, given the rate of inflation (especially material costs) and the weak dollar, your price is probably a mark down, technically.![]()

Perhaps I should sell my LunaSol for $800 and make Troy look like a hero?
Outrageous profiteer, he should be shot.![]()
I have already seen a LunaSol sell for 600.00. The price is creeping up.![]()
McG/TB Ti 2AA LunaSol 27, McLuxIII Ti-PD, Nitecore D10, SF RPM U2, G2, AspheriMag3D Q5, Uluapoundr P7, Fenix L2D Q5, LD20, EO1 blue, purple, Hawaiian Punch Monkey Fist Creator
I know. I'm a dirty rotten scoundrel for making $60. What a terrible threat to the market value!![]()
Personally, I get a warm feeling when I see the acceptable market price of flashlights going up.![]()
AWTYD, great light at a very reasonable price.Hmmm
..... Do I have to PayPal my $0.02 for that???
I`m keepin it!
Take care!![]()

Charles, Dutch, Ken, Donn, LL, thanks fellas. One of the reasons a guy sells cheap is the simple self-serving need of a fast sale, and that certainly crossed my mind when pricing. But I also thought it would be good for someone to get this at close to the original price, since, after all, the "original price" was just a week ago. In any case, this one's in the air, literally, as it's on the way Express to Thailand as we speak. PLT will have this on Wednesday, and that ain't too bad.Still lovin' my Lunasol (first run) - it's been EDC'd since I got it a few weeks ago. Kinda dorky. OK, REAL dorky: I have been carrying the Lunasol in one front suit pants pocket and my true EDC, a Ti PD-S, in the other front suit pocket. Just a fear of leaving these in the car, I guess.
Anyway, Don sure makes awesome stuff. Can't wait to see what he thinks up next.
