Mine arrived today too.

It was a lot better than I was expecting. In fact for $44.52 I'd say its pretty
good value.

Ok, the reflector is apparently plastic but is this really important?

The reflector surface seems very shiny and not scratched and the orange
peel does a very good job of producing a nice beam.

The window is plastic too. (polycarbonate probably). I cleaned it and
then put it back again.

The sealing o-rings are not the greatest quality, but then I don't intend
to submerge this light in water. I think it would stand up to some light
rain without a problem.

Build quality otherwise is quite solid and threads quite smooth.

The light is also a nice size in the hand. Similar to my McGizmo 27LT,
just slightly longer.

The reflector diameter seems to be in the region of 33mm.

The best thing about the light is the beam itself.

The tint is nice and white, just how I like it, and the beam is nice
and smooth with a medium flood.

The user interface is easy. Low > Medium > High > Strobe > Sos

It advances to the next level with either a full click or partial depress of
the tailcap. Has memory if left in a mode for longer than about a second.

I find the gradations between the levels good and estimate the high
at about 350 lumens with a ceiling bounce test.

Its very similar to my Icarus Tri-Aleph3-Q5 on high with 500ma going to
each emitter.

I'm very happy with this kind of output at this price. Believe me, it completely
stomps my SSC-P4 lights even when they're driven at 1A.

This light is a very nice form factor and I'm sure some of the basic
design features would be useful to keep in mind in case some of
the modders want to make a higher end light with this led.
