Is the SF U2 tailcap different from the Z59 clicky tailcap?

Is the SF U2 tailcap different from the Z59 clicky tailcap? Any one try it on a G2 or 6P?

It works fine, its basically a HAIII Z59. No fancy stuff in the tailcap for the U2.

That's right, it's a normal Z59/Z58 Clickie except in Black HA.

SF lists the Z59 as available in 'Mil-Spec Type III Hard Anodized' or in 'Tactical Black'. My understanding is that the U2 & other black items are Type II.

I believe SureFire's listing of the Z59 to be a mistake - The Z59 is type II black like the 6P/Z2 (etc) because that is what the Z59 is intended for.

The U2 (K2/E2d/E2DL/X300 etc) are type III (Hard Anodised) black.

The U2 is the only standard model that can use the Z59/Z58 Clickie in Black HA so it doesn't make any sense that the Z59 is black HA.
