OK I know this is long overdue. But the first two photo shoots didn't come out to good. So I decided to go back to my roots. Enjoy......
......whew!!! Words don't describe this light.

Belt clip, maybe a quick release lanyard attachment so one can use paracord.

I was wondering what possibilities there are for different lanyards. That hole is so tiny.
Can you elaborate on the micro cord you're using? Something stronger than the standard cell phone strap type lanyard is what I'm looking for.

Ed, look on the net under cell phone straps, wrist straps, lanyards, etc. It is overwhelming and so takes time. There are SS cables available that will fit through the hole. Also many of the straps available have fishing line inside the cloth sleeve. Or if you are so inclined you can make your own adapter out of fishing line and fittings. I bet Msax knows lots about this stuff.
I myself feel that the best way to carry the 007 on a daily bases is to put it into a holster but with a lanyard attached to your belt. It is not possible to loose it that way. Even a simple cloth cell phone strap will work if you keep an eye on it so it is always intact.
Cheers
Dave

OK, I see Saturn but where's Uranus? Over by the knob polishing machine?
Wait serious for a nano second. The phosphor was excited by your polishing machine. No that wasn't it. It was excited by a UV source which also caused the red and hint of blue in the blue H3 vials. I also bumped up the saturation in PhotoShop to get that off worldly look.
OK, back to the knobs.....

Maybe you should run for president......

Hi Scottiver,
You are right the pictures are taken with the SPY sitting on a 3.5 Kilo Sikhote Alin.
This light is such spacey I found this is the only right background for it
Here a picture of the complete meteorite with the SPY:
And here you can see the light on a 7.5 Kilo Campo Del Cielo:
When I was taking these pictures I also thought about machining a flashlight completely out of a meteorite

Has anyone compared the 007 beam with the upgraded 005 beam? Are they identical?
We need beamshots!
Posted an underexposed before one comparing to two other flashlights.

After reading Don's post about the SPY007 knob pocket it made me want to try something. I split a glass bead and sanded the back flat and dropped it in the pocket with a bit of rubber cement. I'm not really happy with the color, but you get the idea. Maybe a dark blue or black would work better. Please excuse my poor photo skills.
