OK, here is the official updated reservations list for the FCW-4 campout as of 7-30-08.

If your name is on this list it means I have received or are awaiting to receive your payment, and you have a reserved spot for the campout.

Well we are at 23 people so far, and Lighthouse One may have two more coming with his group, I haven't heard from TOB9595, Data or AnimalHouse PA yet, all who have shown interest in the past.

Even though 23+ people is a decent number, I too am surprised that more CPF's aren't signed up to go. What better time to test and compare lights than a dark weekend in the woods! And camping offers a "real" use for our lights. And besides that, camping is just fun and relaxing!

It would easily melt aluminum, maybe copper. Not steel. But you could easily soften it.
We had 1.75L bottle in the fire that we melted to gooeyness in very short order.
It was super hot.

at fcw-1 we threw chairs, tents, etc whatever wasnt bolted we threw on the bonfire the last night.

I just wanted to let you all know that I may not be online to check this thread for a few days. My father passed away and I need to tend to the arrangements and taking care of my mother, who is not in good health herself. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

I'm sorry to hear that. Based on your age, he died way too young. Of utmost importance is that you take care of your mother for as long as is necessary. I saw my father wither away after my mother died. You will know what to do. Your absence from this thread should be as long as is necessary. The events will take care of themselves, since they were planned well in advance.

If you need to talk to me at anytime of the day or night, you have both my numbers. Call without hesitation.
