I'd have to say one thing from just reading the first few lines: " A one-watt LED delivers roughly the same optical output as a hundred-watt light bulb." They don't know what they are talking about. The whole article (I just skimmed it) seems a bit behind the curve. Focusing the power of an LED is nothing new to flashaholics - see the Aspheric lenses some have used.
