Hi guys,

Offering lathe boring service for Surefire 1 and 2-cell lights. I can also do cut-down/rethreads, rework other lights, perform other machine services, (etc.) on a case-by-case basis. PM me for info.

On standard Surefire boring jobs, the original negative lamp contact is NOT machined off. It is retained in order to keep the light as close to stock reliability as possible.

$20 per light for standard boring, I cover return shipping CONUS via USPS insured. Standard boring jobs ship within 72 hours of receipt. Not responsible for lost or damaged lights.

Post your order here with a summary of the work you want done and followup with a PM to me. Then I'll send you my mailing address and Paypal/payment info. If paying by Paypal, please include your CPF handle in the note.

UPDATE:
This "run" of services will be closing on Friday, August 8th. Just as long as your order is in by then, core lights (etc) or other logistics can be handled afterward.

G'day,

Any idea if you could purchase a Mag near where you live and cut it down to 1D size? I am not sure if they are available fairly cheap near you, or at all?

If this sounds like something you might be able to help me with then let me know.

Thanks!

Hi,
Just after an update... I hope all is going to plan?

Regards

Yes and no... the "no" is because I'm having difficulty finding you a lime green Mag! Even the usual mail order sources don't have them in stock. So this may boil down to: How long do you feel like waiting for a lime green Mag?

I think the Boy Scouts must be buying them up or something, for their summer trips. Well, summer here in the northern hemisphere. ALL of the local stores ONLY have black Mags.

In case he's open to another green, here's a Dark Green from Fry's. I've actually seen this in their store up here in Washington and prefer to it the lime.

Here is blue one thats not so bad price wise... I'm pretty sure they offer free shipping within the states as well. I would prefer camo if given a choice though, but I cannot find anywhere either... :naughty:

Scott,

If you live near a Sportsman's Warehouse, I recall their store carrying the Mag2D in the dark blue, similar to the blue/purple Mag2C's produced for Home Depot.

Hello Scott,

Would it be possible to bore an M4 for 18650s and leave the negative contact area intact? If not, would you be able to bore it straight through?

I'm not looking forward to the prolonged process of doing it with a brake hone.

Hi Mark,

I'll PM you with a firm answer later tonight. Originally I wasn't planning on offering bore jobs for anything longer than 1.5D, but I've had a ton of requests for this. I'll have to figure out how much I'll be spending on the fixturing to do the "long" jobs.

Scott does some AMAZING work folks! I'm super anal about my lights and this work was completely FLAWLESS :D

Fit's both my AW and TrustFire 18650's perfectly, not one tiny bit of resistence. Perfect for My Malkoff M60L.

Superfast shipping as well :twothumbs

THANK YOU SCOTT !!!!!

Hi, Scott. I'd like a 2C Mag cut down and rethreaded to 1C (for use with a single AW C Li-Ion cell).

Can you PM with cost and details?

I live in the USA.

Thanks,
-Ed
