i am a newbie looking for a bright light to build any suggestions

i have heard a lot the about mag85s but i can never find where to get the parts.
i also have heard a lot about ROPs but i cant find out what it is or where to get one.
essentialy i am looking for a light that is super bright not to huge and something that wont break the the bank. thanks

Reflectors. I believe the SS shop ones are normally for the low bulb, you need to ask they be drilled out for the high bulb.

Do not do this option until you are familiar with the dangers and safety precautions required to use Li-on batteries.

Just noticed the light refineries link does not seem to work.
Instructions:
Replace plastic reflector with metal one.
Replace plastic lens with glass one.
Replace bulb with new one. Do not handle bulb with bare hands. Skin oils will cause bulb to shatter.
Screw the head back on. Important always have the head on when you turn on the light just in case the bulb shatters. You do not want to damage your eyes from flying glass.
Put the AA batteries in the 6AA to 2D holder, slide that in and screw on the end cap.
Enjoy.

C Li-ons are a little longer than regular C cells so you need to add the adapter before you screw on the end cap.
