I can say I'm not good with these shots but here they are.

I want this light, I need this light..........
I am also in great interest of this beauty.
As far as I know, other than the prototype, only 5 were ever made because of the very limited supply of certain part(s) of this light so....
I guess you might have to wait for a while.
To my eye, this is the best looking Ti light I have ever seen among the Tis on CPF

cool pics
Ok. I can do a band of flush knurling. It is the longer flush knurl that I seem to find difficult. Now with a scissor type knurl tool it works a little better. Unfortunately I don't have this type of knurl tool for my CNC's
I can see the small band is flush. It looks like he was able to feed across the back of the tube which would not really be flush. I had some MrBulk tubes that I did out of titanium with knurled bands. They came out pretty good but took some time to form the knurl.
I do like the tritium Tail cap and switch. That came out really nice.
Incidentally Chris, I wasn't one of those that prepaid for the ArcMania Ti SFIII run which I know suffered from huge delays.
However if those who had prepaid had been told in no uncertain terms that flush knurling wouldn't work well whereas raised knurling would, I find it very hard to believe that that they wouldn't have opted for raised knurling instead.
Did they really get a proper warning about this?
The SF-III Wasn't my sell. So I really can't say. Now lets get back on topic.Lights with Trits please...
1.5x5mm on top & 2x12mm on the bottom:

I agree Barry! Nice shot. . . and what a great light! Those trit slots are slick! That is one lucky HDS owner!

there is a ex10 with a trit piston, also a silver ring with 2 bart ice blues, and six farid blue's,also a silver necklace and pendant made out of a bart 18mm orange trit sphere, and coated with envirotex lite, then there is the benchmade morpho balisong with ice blue and dark blue trits installed with envirotex lite..![]()
Since I don't use the clip on my E2L (preferring a lanyard instead) the clip boss needed filling ... with this:
Vial size is 2x12mm & slot is filled to the top. The photos above are my second attempt & they came out much better than the first time. If the NOA61 isn't perfectly flat on top the tubes will look distorted (which happened the first time).

I've wanted to install trits in my C2 for a long time so it will be easier to find when something goes bump in the night
2x12mm installed "in the corner" of the body:
Because of the location the view angle is pretty wide:

looks really good on the side, I would be worried that it is more likely to break as it seems that it is in a more vulnerable position.
My lightsWTB: Surefire: New/Used/Rare. Currently looking for everything Crosshairs + D2. Interesting trades available.Everybody, just send your lights directly to James - he'll end up with them anyhow, lol.-Kestrel
I can understand your concern but the corners of the tube are one of the few locations on a C2 that has enough room for a trit longer than 5mm. Also (and not easily seen in the photos) the trit slots are cut deep enough so that the top of the vial is lower than the side walls - the vial is surrounded by aluminum on all sides.I would be worried that it is more likely to break as it seems that it is in a more vulnerable position.
One more reason for this location - whenever I drop any light the preferred point of impact is where ever the damage is most visible, either the bezel or the tail cap
